WHY SO OBSESSED?

I can tell you when Danish culture fell on my radar, but I can’t tell you when the obsession began. It grew steadily and silently, and before I knew it, I was trying to convince my partner to move to Copenhagen!

My obsession of course culminated in a trip to Denmark (Copenhagen and Aarhus) in 2019. I loved everything — the food, the people (Danes are quite possibly the least annoying people on the planet), the language, the green living, the public transportation, the minimalist design, and the lifestyle.

My partner and I decided that it would be too difficult at this point in our lives to move to Denmark (maybe someday), so for now, I will continue to be obsessed over here in America.
